The terms that apply when you use the site and services of La Bonne Education.

1. Acceptance

By accessing and using lbe-edu.sg and the services of La Bonne Education (“LBE”, “we”, “us”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. About our services

LBE is an education consultancy that guides students and families in planning studies abroad — covering Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, America, England, and Canada. Our services include pathway consultation, application support, scholarship information, language test preparation, student visa guidance, accommodation assistance, and tutor matching.

3. Nature of our services

Please understand clearly:

  • LBE acts as a consultant and guide. We are not an educational institution and we do not decide admissions.
  • Admission decisions rest entirely with the institution concerned. We cannot guarantee that you will be accepted.
  • Visa and immigration decisions rest entirely with the authorities of the destination country. We help prepare documents, but cannot guarantee approval.
  • Fees, curricula, and requirements we share come from the institutions themselves and may change at any time without notice. Always reconfirm with the institution before making a financial commitment.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide information and documents that are accurate, complete, and current. Incorrect information can lead to a rejected application or visa, which is outside our responsibility.
  • Do not use this site for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms others.
  • Meet the deadlines set by institutions and authorities.
  • Pay the official fees charged directly by institutions, immigration authorities, or other providers.

5. Service fees

LBE’s initial consultation is provided free of charge to students and parents. Where a particular service does carry a fee, this will be explained and agreed in writing before the work begins.

Application fees, tuition fees, visa fees, insurance, accommodation, and other official costs are paid by you directly to the relevant party and are not part of our service.

6. Refer a Friend programme

The referral programme operates on the following terms:

  • The reward is paid after the referred student has formally enrolled and started their programme at one of our partner institutions.
  • The referral must reach us before the prospective student applies independently or through another party.
  • Amounts, deadlines, and full conditions may change; the terms that apply are those we confirm at the time the referral is received.
  • LBE may decline referrals that cannot be verified or that were obtained improperly.

7. Tutor requests

The Request For Tutor form is a request, not a contract. Submitting it creates no obligation for you or for us until a separate agreement is made. We work to match you with a suitable tutor, but cannot guarantee availability for every request, location, or schedule.

8. Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party websites, including partner institutions and social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

9. Intellectual property

All material on this site — including text, logos, layout, and images — belongs to LBE or is used with the owner’s permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it commercially without our written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LBE is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or our services — including but not limited to rejected admissions, refused visas, fee changes by institutions, or delays caused by third parties.

The content of this site is provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate, but give no warranty that all information is current and free of error.

11. Suspension of service

We may suspend or decline service to anyone who provides false information, misuses our services, or acts unlawfully.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute will first be addressed through discussion and, failing agreement, resolved under the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
