Privacy Policy
How La Bonne Education collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. Summary
La Bonne Education (“LBE”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you use lbe-edu.sg, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it.
In short: we only collect what you send us through our forms, we use it to answer you and guide your study plans, and we never sell your data to anyone.
2. What we collect
a. Information you give us
When you complete the Free Consultation or Request For Tutor form, we receive:
- Your full name
- WhatsApp or mobile number
- Email address
- Destination country and level of study
- Lesson location and student level (for tutor requests)
- Anything you write in the message field
Form submissions are sent directly to our own server and forwarded to the LBE inbox. Your details do not pass through any third-party form service, are never displayed on your screen as a ready-to-send message, and are not stored in any chat history.
If you choose to contact us through the WhatsApp button instead, that conversation is of course subject to WhatsApp/Meta’s own privacy policy. That is your choice, not a requirement — the forms on this site work without WhatsApp.
b. Information collected automatically
If you allow analytics cookies, we may receive statistics such as pages visited, time on page, device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
c. Address lookup
When you type a lesson location, the text you enter is sent to OneMap, the official address service of the Singapore Land Authority, to suggest matching addresses and return the postal code. Only the text you type is sent; no other personal details are shared.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your questions and consultation requests
- To recommend suitable schools, universities, courses, or tutors
- To help with applications to the institutions you choose
- To keep you updated on the progress of your application
- To improve the content and usability of this site
We will not send you repeated marketing without your consent, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
4. Legal basis
We process your information based on the consent you give when you submit a form or accept cookies, and on our legitimate interest in providing the consultancy service you asked for.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses three categories of cookies:
- Necessary cookies — required for the site to work: page navigation, basic security, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site. Collected anonymously.
- Marketing cookies — used to show more relevant advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta.
Analytics and marketing cookies stay switched off until you allow them. You can change your choice at any time through at the bottom of every page.
6. Sharing your information
We may share your information with:
- Partner institutions — only when you ask us to apply or enquire about a specific programme on your behalf.
- Technical service providers — such as our website host and email delivery service, limited to what is needed to run this site.
- Authorities — where required by applicable law.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
7. Storage and security
We keep your information for as long as it is needed to support your education journey, or as long as the law requires. We apply reasonable safeguards, though please note that no transmission of data over the internet is ever completely risk-free.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your data
- Withdraw consent you previously gave
- Ask us to stop contacting you
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in section 11.
9. Children’s data
Our service concerns the education of children and young people. We only accept details of students under 18 through a parent or guardian. By submitting a child’s details, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the most recent update always appears at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
